In 15 minutes by car you can reach Anogia and see local heroes (Partisans), tapestry and the Nida Plateau (birthplace of Zeus). Also visit the Skinakas Observatory. You can enjoy this very old area of calm, beautiful nature and soak in the authentic Greek island life. You can’tch owls, bats, swallows and hawks nearby, as well as goats and sheep.
